    ability to influence gene expression in the skin.

  • This study evaluated the benefits of Extra Strength Active Peel Brightening System in improving several skin qualities including the visual appearance of the skin, dermal thickness/density, pigmentation, and subjects’ perception of the product.

This would challenge the concept that a single product or regimen exhibits specificity for treating a single skin condition. If the same regimen proved helpful in normalizing several pathologic processes, this would suggest some type of common physiologic pathway encouraging improved skin health in subjects over a wide age range and for several underlying skin issues.
